Nigeria international Paul Onuachu put an end to his goal drought after two months, as Genk beat Sporting Charleroi 4-2 in their Jupiler League clash on Thursday night.

Before the game, the former Midtjylland forward had not scored since October 31, but he was able to buy a win for his side at the Cegaka Arena.

Onuachu goal levelled the scores for the Smurfs in the 35th minute after Jackson Tchatchoua had put the away team ahead in the 27th minute of the clash.

With his goal last night, that puts his total league goal on 11th in 17 matches this season, and 13th in all competitions having been put through by Junya Ito.

Goals from Patrik Hrosovsk and Luca Oyen secured the maximum point for Glen Riddersholm’s men, and placed them 9th in the league with 25 points having beaten Sporting Charleroi last night.
