Former Nigerian midfielder, Nduka Ugbade has revealed that only Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr can determined Odion Ighalo’s involvement in today’s 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Liberia despite his late arrival to camp.
Ighalo arrived the camp late ahead of the two world cup qualifying fixtures on Saturday and Tuesday against Liberia and Cape Verde respectively.
Ugbade speaking in a chat with Brila FM stressed that Ighalo’s location coming from the middle East and the peculiarity of his involvement having been out of the team before should be considered.
He however added that it is up to the coach to determine Ighalo’s involvement in Saturday’s game against Liberia.
