Nigeria and Watford midfielder Etebo is convinced that winning 2021 AFCON would be difficult for any of the 24 participating national teams.
However, the former Stoke star believes the Super Eagles can go on and win the championship.
Defending champions Algeria, Senegal the top ranked team on the continent and AFCON record holder Egypt are the top three countries tipped to win the competition in Cameroon.
While all of the mention teams can’t be ruled out, the Nigeria international predicts that the Super Eagles will overtake others to lift the title come February 6.
Etebo in an interview with Hive, he said: “To pick the winner that’s difficult, but it’s going to be really interesting. I’m going to go for my country Nigeria. I believe it’s going to be difficult, though.”
While the Super Eagles is prepping up for the AFCON in Cameroon, the former Las Palmas midfielder will continues to recover from the injury that has kept him out of action for several weeks.
