The Nigeria Football Federtaion, NFF, has offered to pay Gernot Rohr a year’s salaries to quit as head coach of the Super Eagles.
According to sources, NFF may sack the coach any moment following the Super Eagles’ poor displays in recent outings.
Former Super Eagles spokesman and a former international Idah Peterside said on SuperSports TV he has been told by top NFF officials.

“Rohr has been asked to step down as coach and be paid a year’s salary,” Peterside said.
Should Nigeria sack Rohr before his contract runs out next year, he will be entitled severance pay of $2m.
Rohr was appointed Super Eagles coach in August 2016. The 68-year-old signed an extension in May, 2020.
