Japanese club, Shanon Bellamare have terminated the contract of Nigeria midfileder, Mikel Agu.
Shannon Bellamare announced Mikel’s departure on their official website.
The 30-year-old joined the Japanese J1 club from last summer, penning a two-year contract.

The player was however plagued by persistent injuries.
Mikel made just one appearance for the club.
The talented midfileder spent most of his career in Portugal where he played for Porto, Vitoria Setubal and Vitoria Guimaraes.
He has made seven appearances for Nigeria.
