Massive observation as Arsenal trounced Everton 4-0 at the Emirates Stadium

Arsenal recorded a convincing 4-0 win at home against Everton as they made the most of the encounter with four unreplied goals.

It was a night where the Gunners needed the three points just like the visitors (Everton) who are in the relegation battle themselves.

However, quality saw Arsenal prevail on the night of football as we enumerate the key observations we deduced from the Emirates encounter.

Martinelli flourishes for Arsenal

The young Brazilian forward was on hand to poach two goals in the favour of his side on the occasion. The first goal was an exquisite finish which needed VAR to be approved to be a goal.

However, with VAR pointing to the centre for a restart signalling the fact that it was a goal, it was just a matter of time before the youngster got his brace in an exemplary fashion.

He’s been in fine form and that saw him make the star-studded Brazil squad for last year’s World Cup in Qatar.

And his brace is a positive feat as far as his side is concerned as he squeezed the ball past the Everton goalie for his second goal of the game to make it a resounding 4-0 victory for Arsenal.

Revenge attained against Everton

The North London club may have lost 1-0 recently at Goodison Park to Everton. But the 4-0 score is a huge statement that the superiority is with them and not Everton.

The way they beat the Merseysiders is worthy of note as we recall that Everton’s 1-0 victory was Sean Dyche’s first game in charge.

Arsenal has picked up the maximum number of points beating their counterpart in the reverse fixture to claim revenge as they continue their rise at the top of the EPL standing.

Arsenal in Commanding Position

The win sees Arsenal yet again at the top of the League position five points clear ahead of closest rival Manchester City.

While Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are six points adrift of Pep Guardiola’s side. This means Arsenal leads the League title, five points above City and 11 points above the Red Devils.

Though nothing is certain, but Arsenal is firmly looking like they are closing in on a first EPL title thus leading the Manchester sides at the League summit.

And with Arsenal’s form at the moment they are looking like they’re going to win the Premier League no matter how we see it
