Manchester United will make a ‘considerable’ offer for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
According to Fichajes, the Red Devils want to add a top-class goalscorer and see Osimhen as the perfect candidate to strengthen their attack.
The Nigerian striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has impressed this season by scoring 28 goals and assisting five in 32 appearances.
United’s manager, Ruben Amorim, finds Osimhen’s speed, strength, and clinical finishing a great fit for his team.
Osimhen’s contract with Napoli is nearing its final 12 months, and he looks set to leave the club permanently this summer.
Manchester United hopes to finalize the deal as soon as possible, with Osimhen sitting at the top of their striker shortlist.
The club plans to offer Napoli a significant amount of money to secure the striker’s services.
Galatasaray knows they stand little chance of keeping Osimhen due to the Premier League interest.
Osimhen leads the Turkish Super Lig’s top scorers with 20 goals, ahead of Krzysztof Piatek, who has 19.
Alongside Osimhen, United is also eyeing other striker options, such as Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, who has a £40 million release clause.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly chasing the England U21 international.
As the summer transfer window nears, Manchester United looks determined to secure one of the best strikers in Europe.
