Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has confirmed that his team has suffered three more injuries during their 4-3 defeat to Chelsea on Thursday night.

The match at Stamford Bridge saw Raphael Varane barely complete the first half before being replaced by Johnny Evans.

However, Evans himself had to be substituted in the second half due to an injury. Ten Hag also revealed that Casemiro was struggling with a knock.

Injury Concerns for Varane, Evans, and Casemiro

Ten Hag expressed his disappointment at losing key players to injuries during such a crucial match.

He stated, “Losing Varane and Evans, and then having to take off Casemiro as well, doesn’t help in such moments. You need these types of players to show leadership and guide the team.”

United’s Determination and Character

Despite the setbacks, Ten Hag praised his team’s determination and character, saying, “The team will be there on Sunday.

They have shown today that they have character and are willing to fight for the game.” Manchester United will face their rivals Liverpool in their upcoming match on Sunday.
