Leandro Trossard Set to Feature in Arsenal’s Premier League Clash vs Man United
Mikel Arteta has announced that Arsenal have completed the paperwork to complete the £27m signing of Leandro Trossard in time to make his debut against Manchester United on Sunday.
Trossard joins the table-topping Gunners from Brighton, where he has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 16 appearances this season.
Arteta confirmed that Trossard had trained with Arsenal earlier on in the day and everything is “good to go”.
He added: “We are really happy to have him… He knows the league, has enough experience and he can have an immediate impact in the team.”
The Belgium international will add competition and versatility into Arsenal’s attacking ranks and has made 121 appearances for Brighton since joining from Genk in 2019, scoring 25 goals and adding 14 assists.
