LaLiga Santander President Javier Tebas says it would be impossible for Barcelona to sign Europe’s most coveted forward, Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
The Blaugrana claims to do business with Dortmund in the coming winter transfer window concerning the Norwegian, but Tebas feels their ambition to sign him is out of the question.
Following the appointment of Xavi Hernandez as Barcelona coach, there’s a need for him to bolster the squad as soon as possible and quite a number of players have been linked with the club in recent time.
However, Tebas believes the Blaugrana’s economic hardships will prevent them from sealing such a deal whether in the summer or winter transfer window.
Tebas in an interview with LaLiga TwentyNine event said: “I don’t think it’s possible for Barcelona to sign Haaland because of their economic numbers and financial limitations.”
“There would have to be many circumstances and agent Mino Raiola does not sell on the cheap, he sells high.” Tebas concluded.
