Barcelona caretaker coach Sergi has assured that he will do everything to ensure that Philippe Coutinho rediscover his best form.
Sergi was speaking ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash with Dynamo Kyiv.
On Coutinho, he said, “This is my idea. I have spoken with all the players, also with him. The Camp Nou whistled at me, even when I was from home. I have asked him to play easy and that when he can make a difference, to do so. The easier he does it, the better we can find the strength he had as a Liverpool player.”
Sergi says Ousmane Dembele could also see action for the first time this season.
“Recovering players is an extra motivation for everyone because it is internal competition. The fact that we are recovering players, whether they are on the field for a minute or to start, is good. More if they are decisive.
“The important thing is that they contribute and give joy. You have to be careful with Dembélé, but you have to thank him for wanting to be here and helping us in such an important game for Barça.”
