Flying Eagles boss, Ladan Bosso has dropped 25 players from the team’s camp as they intensify preparations ahead of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Bosso, who has overhauled the squad following their successful outing at the WAFU B U-20 Championship in May ordered the players to leave camp due to their poor performance in training.

Players, who also came to camp uninvited were also told to leave.

The foreign-based professionals are expected to link up with their teammates in camp in January.

Meanwhile, the seven-time African champions will file out today against Nigeria Professional Football League club, Wikki Tourists in a friendly at the Gold Project Practice pitch, Abuja.

The Flying Eagles will also keep a date with another NPFL club, Nasarawa United on Friday.

They will round up the first phase of their camping exercise with the encounter against Lobi Stars on Saturday.

The team will resume camping on January 6.
