The revised dates clashes with the Africa Cup of Nations, which will sees the continents national champions decided in the final on the 6 of February in Cameroon.

Mido added that such decision wouldn’t have been made if the case has been with the Euros or Copa America.

“Can the International Federation hold the tournament at the same time as the European Nations Cup or at the same time as Copa America?” Of course not. He said.
