According to reports, Juventus forward Federico Chiesa has declined an offer from Newcastle United and expressed his desire to join Liverpool instead.
Chiesa has been given the opportunity to join Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Saudi Pro League clubs Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli, but he is not interested in any of those moves.
He would prefer to join Liverpool, even though no offer has been made from the Merseyside club. Juventus manager Max Allegri is willing to integrate Chiesa into his team if no move materializes.
However, Liverpool.com believes that Chiesa is unlikely to get the move as Liverpool already has a well-stocked attack and Chiesa may not accept a bit-part role.
Additionally, Chiesa is turning 26 soon, so he may not be seen as a long-term successor.
