Watford captain Moussa Sissoko has blamed Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong’s error for Watford 2-4 loss to Leicester City in Sunday’s Premier League game.
Recall that Ekong was at fault for the Foxes opening goal after he failed to deal with a Jonny Evans long ball, which allowed James Maddison to fire past Daniel Bachmann.
Reacting to the defeat, Sissoko told the Club’s official website that the Nigerian international should have done better to deal with the ball.
“I think we started well, but we conceded the first goal and we are disappointed because [William] Troost-Ekong thought someone told him to leave the ball to clear it.”
