Ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, interim coach of the Super Eagles, Austine Eguavoen has insisted that he would deploy a mass attack and defence style of football at the tournament.
Eguavoen made this known in a chat with Brila FM, where he said that he’s blessed with an array of stars that can help him achieve such purpose.
Nigeria are in Group D alongside Egypt, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau.
“We have intelligent players, who will play the way we want them to play.
“We want all 11 players working together. We will play with 11, attack with 11 and defend with 11.”
Eguaveon is likely to lead the team to the 2022 African Cup of Nations which is expected to kick off on the 9th of January in Cameroon.
