Eagles Defender Omeruo Scores In CD Leganes Win

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

CD Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo has put an end to his nine games drought after opening his goal account in the Spanish Segunda Division for the 2021-22 campaign.

The former Chelsea defender was on target away from home at the Estadio La Rosaleda against Malaga on Saturday, as Leganes went on to win 2-0.

Six minutes into the second half, the Nigeria international got his foot to a free kick floated into the box and tapped it in for the match opener after a VAR review.

Omeruo, who has found playing time hard to come by this season showed quality against Malaga which happened to be his first game in five in the division this season.

Prior to Leganes visits to the Andalusian club, he had not scored for the club since February 17, 2021, but his goal yesterday cancelled that.

With the African Cup of Nations slated for January upon us, the former Middlesbrough centre back will hope to keep improving in his performance for him to make Augustine Eguavoen’s squad to AFCON.
