Gernot Rohr has refused to back down from his post as the Super Eagles boss despite sack claims by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The Franco-German gaffer was on Sunday relieved of his duties as the Super Eagles boss following a virtual meeting of the executive committee of the NFF.
The decision taken means that Rohr will not be in charge of the three time African champions Super Eagles team at the AFCON.
Rohr however, has revealed that his lawyers have already begun work on the whole situation.
“My lawyers are working on it now, my contract is going untill the end of next year.” Rohr said.
Following Rohr’s sack, the NFF announced a former captain and head coach of the Super Eagles as the interim manager of the team as preparations for the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations commences.
