Former Nigerian midfielder, Emmanuel Amuneke has called on the Super Eagles handler, Gernot Rohr to extend invitation to Watford striker, Emmanuel Dennis ahead of the team’s preparation for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Amuneke stated this on the backdrop of Denni’s impressive goal scoring form in the Premier League this ongoing season.
In an interview with Punch, the 1994 AFCON winner said that Dennis to be recall to the Super Eagles.
“He (Dennis) is a good player and deserves a chance in the team,” Amuneke said.
“We see his qualities and how best he can be used but it’s up to the manager to decide which player fits into his plan.”
