Everton was trounced in their own backyard as Liverpool claimed a convincing 1-4 away win at the Goodison Park.

The likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah were in imperious form though Demirai Gray pulled a sublime goal for his side in the contest.

Liverpool’s win was a crucial one as they remained within touching distance with Manchester City and Chelsea in the title race.

The Reds used the match to reinstate their superiority over their Merseyside counterpart Everton in this match.

And they showed no mercy with the way they were ruthless in front of goal. It ensured that Gray’s brilliant goal was only but consolation in the Everton/Liverpool game.
