Chelsea target Michael Olise signs shock new four-year Crystal Palace deal

Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise’s potential move to Chelsea has fallen through after he signed a new four-year contract with Crystal Palace.

This comes after Chelsea’s offer of around £35 million for the France Under-21 international triggered a release clause in his contract.

Despite Chelsea’s interest, Palace had been adamant that Olise would not be leaving the club this summer due to tensions between the two clubs over Chelsea’s conduct during the transfer negotiations.

Palace officials were reportedly aggravated by Chelsea’s pursuit of the winger and had considered reporting them for an illegal approach. However, Chelsea maintains that they followed the rules in their pursuit of Olise.
