Chelsea outcast Michy Batshuayi linked with shock Premier League comeback

Former Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is reportedly close to making a shock return to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest.

The Championship club is looking to bolster their attacking options as they aim to secure their top-flight status for a third consecutive season.

Batshuayi, who has spent the last two seasons in Turkey, is seen as an ideal option for Forest.

This is the second time the club has attempted to sign the Belgian, with their previous attempt coming 12 months ago.

According to reports, Batshuayi has already agreed to personal terms with Forest, and the club will now negotiate a deal with Fenerbahce, his current club, who are said to be asking for £8m for the striker.

If the deal goes through, it will mark Batshuayi’s return to the Premier League after his previous stint with Chelsea, where he made 77 appearances and scored 25 goals.
