Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher praise Emmanuel Dennis’ game intelligence for his goal in Nottingham Forest’s 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United on Friday night.
Dennis was handed his third start of the season by manager Steve Cooper against the Magpies.
The 25-year-old repaid his manager’s faith by scoring his side’s only goal of the game on 26 minutes.

The versatile forward took advantage of a hesitant Newcastle United’s defence to put Forest ahead in the first half.
Carragher praised Dennis for his smartness in the build up to the goal.
“You have to give credit to [Emmanuel] Dennis not only for anticipating, but there’s a lot to do for the finish, which is wonderful,” Carragher said after the game.
Dennis has scored two goals in 14 league appearances for Nottingham Forest this season.
