Bayer Leverkusen Manager Xabi Alonso Delays Victor Boniface’s Return

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

According to a report by Daily Post, Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has stated that Nigerian player Victor Boniface is not yet ready to make a comeback after his injury lay-off.

Alonso had initially planned to include Boniface in the squad for the upcoming DFB Pokal semi-final against Fortuna Dusseldorf next Wednesday.

However, the Spanish manager believes that Boniface requires more time to achieve full match fitness.

During a press conference on Friday, Alonso mentioned, “For Victor Boniface, we’ll wait a little longer.

The idea is that he will be back in the squad on Wednesday. Exequiel Palacios and Arthur won’t be there tomorrow either.”

Boniface recently returned to full training after spending approximately three months on the sidelines due to an adductor injury.

This season, the 23-year-old Nigerian has been a key player for Bayer Leverkusen, contributing 16 goals and eight assists in 23 appearances across all competitions.

Despite his impressive performance, it seems that the club wants to ensure his complete recovery before reintroducing him to competitive matches.

With Boniface’s return eagerly awaited by fans, it remains to be seen when he will be deemed fit to rejoin the squad.

Until then, Bayer Leverkusen will have to rely on other players to fill the void left by his absence.
