Barcelona have reportedly reached a full agreement with Leeds United for the transfer of Raphinha.
After protracted negotiations, Barça and Leeds were able to come to an agreement over the terms of the deal which will see the winger move to Camp Nou imminently.
Fabrizio Romano confirms that Barcelona will be shelling out €67 million to Leeds United for Raphinha, including add-ons, with the fixed component of the payment being around €58 million.
Now, Spanish journalist Victor Navarro of COPE has come up with details regarding the Brazilian’s medical and unveiling as a Barcelona player.
The update states that the 25-year-old will be arriving in Catalonia today, i.e. Wednesday (13 July) to complete his medical and other formalities. However, the signing will not be made official right away.
But Barça plan to include the Brazilian international on the squad for their pre-season tour to the United States of America for which they fly out on July 16, thus, the official announcement of Raphinha’s transfer should be made on Thursday or Friday before the trip to the States.
The medical is likely to be completed sometime later today and Raphinha could officially be a Barcelona player by Friday.
