Barcelona is reportedly planning to make a formal loan proposal for Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo.
The Catalan club is determined to strengthen their defence on the right side and sees Cancelo as a potential solution.
They are expected to submit a loan bid with an option to buy, using the funds raised from Ousmane Dembele’s sale to help finance the move.
Cancelo has already agreed to personal terms with Barcelona and is keen to make the move to La Liga.
However, there is still uncertainty about whether the two clubs can reach a compromise on the transfer fee, as Barcelona is only willing to pay €25m while Man City is demanding €45m.
Despite this, Cancelo is expected to leave Manchester City this summer after falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola.
