Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Barcelona are set to let Netherlands international Frenkie De Jong leave the Nou Camp for £75 million in January, with Manchester City touted as a possible destination for the former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder.

The Dutchman joined Barcelona in 2019 and was seen as a perfect player the club could build their future around, and the 24 year old has since featured more than 100 times for the Catalans.

He was an important player under Barcelona’s previous manager Koeman, who was relieved of his job recently for Xavi to take over from him.

The Spanish giant are hoping to rebuild under their new manager Xavi, but they’re in a dire situation financially so they could be forced to push through player sales before they can bring in fresh recruits with the new boss keen to revamp the squad.

With that in mind, De Jong could be the first player destine to leave Barcelona as they’re keen to raise funds as reported by Spanish TV Channel El Chiringuito, with the Nou Camp club believing he represents their strongest chance of raising money.

According to report, Manchester City could be one of many club interested in the Dutchman, with Guardiola looking for a midfielder who can slot in perfectly into his possession style of play system.

Other reports also believes Manchester City are willing to do a swap deal involving Raheem Sterling, who has lost his position to fellow countryman Jack Grealish.

Xavi Hernandez while speaking in an interview with the press said, “He is an extraordinary player, he is not afraid to receive the ball in difficult areas, to turn around.”

“He needs time to adapt, it is another culture. It is a big club. Frenkie De Jong is Frenkie De Jong. It has nothing to do with it, neither with me, nor with Iniesta nor with Basquet.”

“He is a very capable footballer, he is going to be the organizer of this generation from the Netherlands. He is very capable of doing it.”

“He has a very good generation and he is going to achieve great things.”
