Despite a last-minute effort from Aston Villa, Leeds United winger Jack Harrison will be joining Everton this weekend.
Everton reached an agreement with Leeds and Harrison, and he underwent a medical in Merseyside.
There were reports that Aston Villa had spoken to Harrison and he was considering joining them after a conversation with Unai Emery.
However, according to reports, Everton has ultimately won the race to sign Harrison on a loan-to-buy deal.
This is part of a larger exodus of players leaving Leeds this summer.
Harrison will be looking to have a successful season in the Premier League and potentially catch the attention of Gareth Southgate for next year’s Euros.
