Am Confident About Turning Things Around – Rafael Benitez

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Everton boss Rafael Benitez says his confident about turning things around for the Toffes after their defeat away at Brentford.

Ivan Toney scored the only goal of the tie from the penalty spot in the 24th minute which extended Everton’s winless run to seven games.

Andros Townsend foul of Nigeria international Frank Onyeka in the box with a high foot led to the only goal for the Bees.

Everton were poor during the first half and while they tried to up the ante in the second half, they couldn’t as Brentford went on to secure three point.

After the defeat the Toffes fans made their frustrations known, with some angry reactions when the players went over to applaud the travelling fans.

Benitez speaking after the game, “We can understand the frustration of the fans but we are also frustrated.”

“Today you cannot complain about the effort and intensity the players put in. They try until the end, we had lot of crosses and shots so you cannot complain about the effort but you can be disappointed because obviously we do not want to lose.”

The Toffees poor form stretches back to September 25, and injuries to important players have also hampered their cause in the league with Calvert Lewin, Doucoure and Richarlison suspended prior to today’s game.
