Agu provides update on Okoye’s fitness

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu, has provided fresh and positive update on the injury of Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye.

Agu said the player is making progress in his efforts to be fit for next year’s AFCON finals in Cameroon.

Recall that Okoye suffered a shoulder injury after colliding with Ajax striker, Danilo in Sparta Rotterdam’s 1-nil loss to Ajax during their Dutch Eredivisie tie last month.

The 22-year old was stretched off and has been sidelined ever since, missing Sparta’s 3-1 loss to AZ Alkmaar and their barren draw at Heerenveen.

Alloy Agu while speaking on the goalkeeper’s expected return date ahead of their December camping for the AFCON, revealed that the Watford bound shotstopper would be available for the AFCON in Cameroon.

“Maduka is doing very well and recovering from the injury he sustained in the Dutch league.”

“We’ve contacted him; he’s going to be fine and will be fit in time for the AFCON.”
