Manchester United defender, Diogo Dalot is keen on making a return to SerieA and reunite with former boss, Jose Mourinho.
The 22-year old defender spent the second half of last season on loan with AC Milan and established himself in Stefano Pioli’s plan at the San Siro.
Meanwhile, the Italian side offered another loan with a buy option in the summer but Ole Gunnar Solksjaer decided to keep the Portuguese this season as he wanted him as a backup to Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
With Dalot keen on the move, a deal could be worked out in the mid-season transfer window especially considering how sparingly he has been used by Solskjaer this season.
However, the move would depend on whether Manchester United get to sign Kieran Trippier who they’ve scouted for long.
And for Roma, it could be a good move and a seemingly better alternative to some of the other right-backs they are targeting for January.
