Christian Pulisic and eight other players could depart Chelsea ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Wesley Fofana’s arrival.

The Blues are still active in the transfer window after losing Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Romelu Lukaku, and Timo Werner this summer but the West London club have brought in Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Marc Cucurella.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is desperate to bring in more players to Stamford Bridge before the transfer market closes 1st of September.

According to, The Sun, the Blues will be allowed more than nine players to depart the club this summer and make a way for further incoming signings.

Former Borussia Dortmund winger Pulisic will lead the other eight players to find a new team after the American is surplus for requirement, while Hakim Ziyech, Michy Batschuay, and Ross Barkley are among those who could leave.

Emerson Palmieri has also completed his £15m move to West Ham United, there may still be nine further departures from Stamford Bridge with Marcos Alonso set to join Barcelona, yet his proposed move has been held up by the La Liga giant due to monetary circumstance, which has made registering players become difficult.

The report also states that Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to join Bundesliga top club Beyer Leverkusen on a season-long loan and Trevor Chalobah, Ethan Ampadu, and Billy Gilmour could all leave the club for a regular playing team on a short time basis.

The nine players could see the dethroned UEFA Champions League holders complete the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Wesley Fofana, and Anthony Gordon before the transfer window closes next week Thursday.
