Yann Sommer has officially completed his transfer from Bayern Munich to Inter.
The Swiss international goalkeeper was the top choice for Inter to replace Andre Onana and Samir Handanovic.
After weeks of negotiations, Inter agreed to pay the €6m release clause, with a payment schedule spread over two years.
Sommer underwent medical tests and signed a contract until June 2026.
However, Inter still needs a second goalkeeper and has approached Sampdoria for Emil Audero.
The proposed deal would be a loan with an option to buy, and Sampdoria would also receive youth team goalkeeper Filip Stankovic on loan.
