Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing Victor Osimhen as their next marquee striker signing, following new manager Xabi Alonso’s request for a top forward ahead of the 2025/26 season.

According to TuttoJuve, Alonso has identified the Nigerian striker as the ideal figure to lead his attacking line at the Santiago Bernabeu. Osimhen spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Galatasaray, where he impressed with 37 goals and 8 assists across all competitions.

The Nigerian forward, recently described by national team boss Eric Chelle as “the best striker in the world”, played a crucial role in helping Galatasaray clinch both the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup titles.

Although Osimhen is under contract with Napoli until next summer, the Serie A champions are reportedly eager to sell him during the upcoming window. The striker has a release clause of €75 million (£63m/$85.3m) and is said to be demanding a weekly salary of £400,000, according to GiveMeSport.

Real Madrid face Premier League competition for striker

Manchester United and Liverpool are also closely monitoring Osimhen’s situation. Reports from The Mirror indicate that United are preparing an offer as they continue to rebuild under manager Ruben Amorim. The club is looking for a proven goal scorer, with current options Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee yet to deliver consistently.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are exploring the possibility of a swap deal involving Darwin Nunez. The Premier League champions are also in search of a new attacking option ahead of next season.

Osimhen’s preference for European football has seen him turn down an approach from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal. Galatasaray are also keen to make his move permanent after a successful season in Turkey.

Alonso’s striker vision for Real Madrid

Despite already boasting Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior in their frontline, Real Madrid appear intent on adding a traditional number nine to the squad. Alonso reportedly wants a profile similar to Joselu—an option capable of holding play and offering a different dimension off the bench.

Real Madrid also have Brazilian teenager Endrick waiting in the wings. While highly rated, club insiders believe the 17-year-old may need time to adapt to the demands of top-level European football.

In recent weeks, names such as Roberto Firmino and Hojlund have been linked with the Spanish giants. However, Osimhen is currently the main focus, given his proven record and physical presence.

Madrid prepare for active summer window

As the summer transfer window approaches, Real Madrid are preparing for more moves beyond the striker position. The club has reportedly received encouragement in its pursuit of Arsenal’s Martin Zubimendi, while also considering other targets with Premier League experience.

With Carlo Ancelotti now managing Brazil, Xabi Alonso’s tenure is set to begin with major transfer activity. Securing Victor Osimhen could be the headline deal that defines Real Madrid’s attacking direction under their new coach.
