West Ham are not interested in signing unwanted Barcelona forward Memphis Depay this summer, Isagoal understands.
It had been reported elsewhere that West Ham were interested in signing the Dutchman but that has been denied, leaving Juventus in the box seat for the former PSV, Manchester United and Lyon forward.
Depay only joined Barcelona last year after leaving Lyon and netted 13 times in 38 games across the campaign.
He is expected to join the Italian giants for a relatively low fee as the Catalan side are concerned with getting his astronomical £230,000 a week wages off of their books.
Depay will leave the Catalan club in the hope of regular game time in the three months between now and the winter World Cup in Qatar.
Meanwhile, West Ham are exploring other targets away from Depay. The east London club on Friday saw a bid rejected for Sporting Lisbon’s Matheus Nunes with the player reluctant to join David Moyes’ team.
