Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have returned to the country following their quater-final exit from the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.
A delegation of players and officials touched down in Abuja the Nigerian capital on Thursday June 8 days after their loss to South Korea.

South Korea laboured to a 1-0 extra-time win over Nigeria to end the teams hopes of returning with a first ever FIFA U-20 World Cup title.
At the time of their return, there has been no information of a formal reception for the Ladan Bosso tutored Nigeria Flying Eagles team.
That means the Flying Eagles players will return to their respective clubs/academies within and outside the shores of Nigeria while waiting for expected contact from various clubs interested in their services following their stellar performances at the U-20 World Cup.
