U-20: AFCON: Ogwuche Reveals Flying Eagles Ambition Ahead Tunisia Clash

Abel Ogwuche has stated that the Flying Eagles will be playing to secure a podium finish at the ongoing 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Flying Eagles will take on Tunisia in the third-place match at the Cairo International Stadium on Friday (today)

Oguwche said the team have put behind them the defeat to Gambia in the semi-final and ate ready to finish tye competition on a positive note.

“We are a hundred percent prepared to take something back to Nigeria,” Ogwuche told a press conference.

“We lost the last game but in football there can only be three outcomes.”

“Tomorrow (today) we will be coming out to win the game and take something back home and put a smile to our fans back home.

“This tournament is a great opportunity for us the players to be seen and showcase our talent and we will do our best.”

The Flying Eagles have won bronze medal at the U-20 AFCON three times.
