Nigerian players abroad have been in magnificent form having put in a fine shift for their respective club sides in Europe.

And with some of these talents responding positively for their club sides in Europe with superb performance they’ve become noteworthy for their scintillating display for their respective teams.

And with improved quality showings from Nigerian talents in the mix, Isagoal.com takes a look at some of the top Nigerian stars across Europe for this weekend.

1.) Chuba Akpom (Middlesbrough, England)

The Middlesbrough man was as usual in fine form for Michael Carrick’s men having netted the first goal for Boro in their 4-0 triumph over Preston North End.

Akpom made it 1-0 in the 22nd minute of the first half.

Before he assisted his side’s third goal scored by Cameron Archer in the 52nd minute as they were up to something special with a resounding 4-0 victory at home.

That was Chuba Akpom’s 23rd Championship goal of the season; a record feat for that matter.

2.) But the goal proved to have awakened the Lion in Marseille as the Chile star scored twice to seal a comeback win for the visitors.

Sanchez’s first goal was from the free-kick while the second was a sublime finish from a through ball as he showed his class thus inspiring his Marseille side to a 1-2 away win against Balogun’s Reims.

And his form was key in the process as they thumped the visitors 3-0 at home on Sunday.

Nigeria’s Osimhen netted both the first and third goal to set the tone for his side’s emphatic win at the weekend in the Italian Serie A.
