The Premier League produced another interesting feat on the English scene as London sides like Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs took on their respective counterparts at the weekend.

The Gunners were victorious at the weekend, unlike Spurs and Chelsea who managed a draw on their own.

It promises to be interesting how the next round of games would be in the Premier League more especially in this Christmas period.

Though the League could go on an induced COVID – 19 break due to the latest cases involving players of EPL clubs.

But it’s yet undecided from the English FA as Isagoal.com reveals the three sides that impressed in the Premier League.

Arsenal

The Gunners are one of the most in-form teams in the EPL while they continue to ride on a high following impressive performance among the players.

The likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Martin Odegaard were superb in their match execution on the pitch.

And it was no surprise as the Gunners thumped Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United 1-4 at the weekend.

While many would hope that Arsenal would keep up the momentum in the wake of further challenges that lie ahead of them in the Premier League season.

Manchester City

The Citizens are obviously performing at a higher level as far as the month of December is concerned.

The way they brushed aside Eddie Howe’s men was amazing to say the least.

While they lead the pack and closet rivals Liverpool on three points following the 2-2 draw Liverpool had with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur side.

It remains to be seen if City would sign a striker in the winter (January transfer) though they are in dire need of a centre forward despite the number of goals they’ve scored in recent weeks to their own credit.

Wolverhampton Wanderers

The home side (Wolves) dealt a blow to Chelsea’s title bid as the Blues lost further grip on title rivals and League leaders Manchester City there were really impressive though they were playing at home.

They were disciplined in the way they duly defended thus making it difficult for Chelsea to find a breakthrough in the game.

They even had the ball in the back of the net but they were unfortunate VAR ruled it out for offside early on in the match.
