Three Exemplary Nigerian players that impressed against Liberia

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Liberia was the opposing figure against Nigeria as the World Cup qualifiers took centre stage this weekend.

Goals from Napoli hitman Victor Osimhen was okay for Nigeria to take the lead but the Eagles were hard working to get themselves a second goal.

With quality scattered everywhere from the Eagles point of view, there are players who should inspire Nigeria at least to a win against Liberia.

Here Isagoal.com reveals the three players who had credible performance in this tie.

Chidozie Awaziem  (Defender)

The Super Eagles defender was at his best in the game as it looks like he’s aiming for a starting berth in the Gernot Rohr Super Eagles squad.

He was not expected to start against Liberia owing to the availability of Ola Aina and even Kevin Akpoguma in the Nigerian defence.

But he stood his ground in this game while his touches and passes were all positive on the pitch.

He would hope to continue on this note as competitions beckon in the Super Eagles defence.

Chidera Ejuke (Winger)

The CSKA Moscow man was one of the promising stars on the pitch. After replacing Alex Iwobi in the second half he produced some positive clicks that produced a level of excellence and class in the final third.

While he may have forced his way into Gernot Rohr’s led squad for the next game. He’s been amazing for the Super Eagles and barring loss of form or injury he should be among the starting players in the Nigerian eleven.

Victor Osimhen (Striker)

The Napoli man is a gift to Nigeria football at large despite his youthful age. Playing at Napoli is no fluke s you’ve seen his contribution to Nigeria high up the pitch.

He was on hand to open the scoring for Nigeria while his moves in the final third earned the Super Eagles the second penalty which was converted by skipper Ahmed Musa.

He’s really good on the evening as he keeps the other quality strikers like Paul Onuachu and the returning and very much experienced Odion Ighalo on the Nigerian bench.
