Moses Simon breaks Emiliano Sala’s Nantes Goal record

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Moses Simon has become the first Nantes player since Emiliano Sala to score 10 or more goals in three consecutive Ligue 1 seasons after scoring two goals in the Yellow Canaries club’s 2-2 draw with Lens.

The Fleet-footed Super Eagles forward spent a year on loan with Levante before committing to the Beaujoire on a permanent basis.

Moses recorded five goals and five assists in his rookie season. He had six goals and five assists last season.

The 26-year-old now has four goals and eight assists on the season after his effort against Lens. This means that he breaks Emiliano Sala’s club record.

Sala played for Nantes for four years before joining Cardiff City for €17 million in 2019. Sadly, the Argentine international died in a helicopter crash, just days after signing with the Welsh club.

The draw maintains Lens in the race for European qualifying, since they are currently seventh in Ligue 1, while Nantes’ attention is now entirely focused on the Coupe de France final against OGC Nice.

The Antoine Kombouare team will be hoping the Nigerian international maintains his excellent form in that final next weekend.
