Fulham was trailing 0-1 away at Old Trafford when Willian Borges blocked the ball on the line with his hands to attract a resulting penalty.

Bruno Fernandes converted the spot kick to equalize for the Red Devils. But giving Mitrovic a red card for his agitation was somehow too harsh a decision from the centre referee.

Fulham already had a man with William shown the red card as well as the Penalty already against them. And sending striker Alexander Mitrovic off may have been too heavy a punishment as it destabilized the entire Fulham side.

Maybe a yellow card may have just been enough for the Serbian on that occasion.
