Salah Matches Shearer’s Record in Liverpool’s 3-0 Win Over Man United

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah continued his remarkable scoring record at Old Trafford, netting in a 3-0 victory over Manchester United on Sunday.

Salah’s goal marked his tenth in nine appearances at United’s home ground, making him only the second player in Premier League history to score ten or more goals at a single away stadium.

The first was Alan Shearer, who scored ten times at Leeds United’s Elland Road.

Trent Alexander-Arnold initially thought he had opened the scoring early on, only for Salah to be deemed offside in the build-up.

Yet, the visitors’ early frustrations were soon forgotten when Luis Diaz netted twice to put them ahead before the break.

Salah then found the net in the 56th minute, marking a perfect first visit to Old Trafford for new manager Arne Slot.

The Dutchman not only oversaw a memorable victory but also etched his name in the history books as the first Liverpool manager to win his opening clash away at Manchester United since George Kay in 1936.

Salah famously scored a hat-trick at the same ground in a 5-0 win under Jurgen Klopp in 2021 and continues to show his prowess against Manchester United.

To emphasize just how much Salah loves scoring against United, he has scored ten and assisted six of Liverpool’s last 22 Premier League goals against them.

As a result of Sunday’s spectacular performance, Liverpool moved to second in the Premier League table, trailing Manchester City only on goals scored.
