Man Utd in Talks with Chelsea Over Potential Sterling Transfer

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Manchester United have engaged in preliminary discussions about a potential move for Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling.

Sterling is reportedly open to joining United, especially if a deal involving Juventus target Jadon Sancho falls through.

A swap between the two England internationals, Sancho and Sterling, has been suggested, with United eager to offload Sancho while Sterling has been stripped of the number seven shirt at Chelsea.

Sancho currently earns approximately £250,000-a-week, a figure that reportedly reduced following United’s failure to qualify for the Champions League.

Sterling, on the other hand, is on a £325,000 weekly salary at Chelsea, which could leave United worse off under the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability rules.

Manchester United have stressed that they would only consider deals that aid their financial calculations for the next season.

United already have wingers on both the right and left-hand sides, with Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount also available as options.

Chelsea are looking to sell Sterling after he was left out of their opening game of the season against Manchester City.

Sterling’s representatives even issued a statement before the game seeking “clarity” on his role, and he is now training separately from the main squad.

The former Man City forward grew up supporting Manchester United and has remarkably never scored against them in his 26 appearances for Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea.
