Ruben Amorim Open to Giving Paul Pogba a Third Chance at Manchester United

Paul Pogba reportedly still holds a deep affection for Manchester United and could consider a return when his doping ban concludes.

The French midfielder was initially handed a four-year suspension after testing positive for an illegal substance.

However, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) reduced the ban to 18 months, allowing Pogba to resume training in January and return to competitive play in March.

Pogba rejoined United in 2016 for a club-record £90m and spent six years at Old Trafford, winning two trophies.

Despite a turbulent second spell at the club, where both he and the team struggled, Pogba has made it clear through close friends, including former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna, that he still loves United.

Sagna believes that new manager Ruben Amorim, who has a background as a former player, would be open to giving Pogba a second chance.

He thinks Amorim’s approach and understanding of players’ situations could provide a fresh opportunity for Pogba at United.

According to Sagna, Pogba would be eager to return to his former club under Amorim’s leadership, especially with a more youthful and player-understanding coach at the helm.

As Pogba’s suspension nears its end, the possibility of a return to Manchester United could become a reality, with Amorim potentially willing to welcome him back into the fold.
