Rohr debunks reports linking him to coaching Ghanaian national team

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Former head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has debunked reports linking him to the coaching role of the Ghanaian national team.

Rohr, who was axed as the Super Eagles boss before the 2021 AFCON, has been reported to be the strongest candidate for the vacant Black Stars coaching job, following the sack Milovan Rajevac as Ghana prepares for an all important Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria in March.

The German tactician has however denied being contacted for the vacant position, stating it will be difficult to coach another team against the Super Eagles.

“I don’t have any agent and nobody is intensifying my candidature to coach Ghana,” Rohr told Nigeria’s NationSports. “Of course, some countries contacted me and not me contacting them.

“It would be difficult for me to fight against my former team.” he stated when pressed further on why he does not want the Ghana job.
