Reports are circulating that Todd Boehly of Clearlake Capital has held a meeting with representatives of Neymar in an attempt to potentially transfer the Paris Saint-Germain star to Chelsea FC, one of the most active clubs in Europe’s transfer window since last May.

Reports further suggest that a successful move for Neymar would put additional pressure on Christian Pulisic’s decision about his future at Stamford Bridge.

Having been tipped for an exit due to a lack of regular game time and entering into the final year of his contract, it remains uncertain whether Pulisic will stay or go if a deal involving Neymar goes through.

However, the US international has shown no signs of giving up as he seeks to return from injury and focus on regaining his spot in Thomas Tuchel’s set-up.
