Poland Defender Jakub Kiwior Set to Complete Arsenal Move Today

Arsenal look set to complete their £21million move for Polish defender Jakub Kiwior in the next 24 hours.

The 22-year-old travelled to London over the weekend and was at Emirates Stadium for Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Manchester United on Sunday.

Following a successful medical on Monday, Kiwior is expected to sign a contract that runs until 2027 with the option of an additional 12 months.

The deal is said to cost the club around £17.5m up front, with potential add-ons of £3.5m later down the line.

In addition, this second January signing after Leandro Trossard will add strengthen their Premier League title tilt by providing cover and competition for Gabriel Magalhaes who has been a mainstay alongside William Saliba in defence this season.

Kiwior is experienced on both right sided centre backs and left back positions as well as having nine caps defending midfield – having previously played at Anderlecht during his youth before joining Spezia in 2021.
