Pochettino Gives Waiting Update on Two Chelsea Players

During a press conference, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino provided an update on Noni Madueke and Levi Colwill, who are currently participating in the European Under-21 Championship with England.

Pochettino revealed that he had spoken to both players about their roles at the club, addressing the speculation surrounding Colwill’s potential departure.

Pochettino expressed his familiarity with Madueke from their time together at Tottenham, where Madueke was part of the Under-18s team.

He also introduced himself to Colwill and wished both players the best for the upcoming final against Spain.

Pochettino mentioned that they are waiting for the players to join the team for their upcoming trip to America.

“One I know – Noni – from Tottenham, he was in the Under-18s. And of course, Levi, I know, but I introduced myself to him.

“I wish all the best for tomorrow [in the Euro U21 final]. It is true that for me it is difficult because it is Spain versus England, but I wish them all the best.

“I think we are waiting for them to be with the team. I think the day that we will fly to America, they will join us.”
