Osimhen To Miss Napoli Vs AC Milan Clash With Injury

Serie A leaders, Napoli will be without Victor Osimhen for Sunday’s Serie A clash against champions, AC Milan.

Osimhen sustained an abductor injury while on international duty with Nigeria this week and has missed training since returning to Naples.

Napoli revealed through a statement on their official website that the player complained of a abductor strain upon his return, which was confirmed he underwent tests.

The 24-year-old will now miss the game at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium and will be further evaluated next week to determine the extent of the Injury.

Napoli will hope the talismanic striker avoid a serious injury with their UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash against AC Milan few weeks away.

Osimhen has scored 25 goals and provided four assists in 28 outings across all competitions for the Partenopei this season.
